Bridal Blitz was created with the mindset of providing a service that would ultimately help to make the process of planning a wedding in Townsville a little more creative. Bridal Blitz offers a variety of services including Wedding Dance Choreography, Wedding and Formal Make-up, an exquisite range of Wedding and Formal Shoes, Bags & Clutches and Personalised Wedding Wear that will guarantee a sense of personal style and individuality. For something unique and different, Bridal Blitz also offers Shoe Parties with a fun shopping atmosphere.

Being competitive Ballroom and Latin dancers, Melissa and Rohan moved to Brisbane in 2004 to futher their dancing career. After spending 3 years learning from some of Australia's top Ballroom and Latin coaches, they were ranked 26th in Australia in the Open Ballroom in 2005 and were the highest placed Queensland couple in the Open 10 Dance in 2006. Whilst in Brisbane, Melissa and Rohan taught Wedding Dances with Brisbane's premier Wedding Dance company, 'Wedding Steps'.  During this time, they worked with over 50 couples creating the ultimate Wedding Dance for their special day.

In April 2008, Melissa and Rohan were Married in Townsville and returned home in November of the same year. The idea for Bridal Blitz was formed early in 2008 when planning for their Wedding. An opportunity was seen to create a business that was unique and convenient encompassing four Wedding specialties in the one location.
