Words can not express the gratitude we have for Melissa and Rohan in making our first wedding dance one that not only our guests will remember but that we will treasure always. We wanted to put together a dance to our song "I knew I loved you" by Savage Garden and Melissa and Rohan helped realise our vision by choreographing the most perfect rumba. They were both professional and patient! Nothing was too hard for them and the time and effort that they put into building a rapport with us meant that we felt comfortable under their direction. It was the hot topic of the night after we walked out onto the dance floor at our reception and engaged in our surprise dance... not even the bridal party knew what we had in stall. Guests were so enthralled that Melissa and Rohan had the magic to turn a tradesman with two left feet into the perfect ballroom partner, that the room fell silent before letting out cheers and gasps of amazement. Together, they made our wedding dance a fairytale beginning to a wonderful life together. They also helped the father of the bride realise his one wish for his baby daughter's wedding... to be able to dance. They taught him some very basic dance steps to make him feel comfortable on the dance floor. We offer a very heartfelt thank you to not only two great teachers but two wonderful people that we now call our friends.

Hearing our crowd of family and friends roar with delight when we finished our dance was the highlight of our evening. My grandmother came over to tell me that she'd always thought I had two left feet, and how delighted she was at the dance - you can't replace that, and it's all thanks to Melissa and Rohan.

We wanted our wedding to be different - we actually did two dances, one when we were introduced and another after the cake. Putting in the extra time for personalised choreography meant we knew our dance was unique, and matched the personal songs we had selected.

I had never danced before - and my bride was a talented dancer - so I was impressed at how well and how patiently Melissa and Rohan walked us through all the steps. With practice between lessons and their encouragement we always felt on top of the new skill, and Harmony's high expectations were met.

Our friends are still talking about how much they loved our wedding, and how impressive the dance was. But it was probably the band leader who summed it up best, after the finale where I lifted and spun my new bride around the dance floor. His words were simple: "Best wedding dance ever!"

After attending many friends' weddings over the years and watching them fumble and shuffle their way through the "bridal waltz" my husband and I decided we wanted to do it better.

We heard about Melissa and Rohan's "wedding dance lessons" and decided to give it a go.

We called them up, told them our song of choice, and a few days later, we were in their studio dancing around together, totally in sync!

Calling Melissa and Rohan was one of the best decisions we made whilst planning our wedding. Our guests were so impressed, and we had an absolute ball performing not only for them, but for ourselves as well!

Melissa and Rohan are extremely talented ballroom dancers, but somehow manage to break it all down into easy to understand steps that even the "two left feet" individuals can figure out.

I would recommend Melissa and Rohan to anyone!

We had an absolute ball learning our wedding moves with Melissa and Rohan. We were able to choose our own music and they cleverly sought out a routine that matched our ability and the style we wanted. They are very enthusiastic and excellent teachers. We looked forward to every session so much so we also vowed to take up regular dancing classes. On the day, I have to say, I think we "buzzed" our family and friends with our salsa and tango finish thanks to their thorough and professional teaching. We would highly recommend them to anyone needing some classes before their wedding day, or even just because!!

We got married in August, 2008. Everything seemed easy to organise and was in order; however in the back of our minds was always the Bridal Waltz. Having absolutly no dance experience between us (unless you count the "Bushdance or "The Sprinkler"), we were worried that we would look silly in front of our family and friends. We needed some basic lessons and fast!

Luckily for us; we came across Melissa and Rohan Prince. Upon our initial meeting, we just knew we would get on well with them and felt comfortable letting our guards down. We were told that within 10 lessons not only would we have the basics down pat, but we would have an entire dance choreographed to music. Wow! Obviously, they hadn't seen us do "The Sprinkler"!

We chose "Everything" by Michael Buble and true to their word by our 6th lesson we had the entire song choreographed and by our 8th, we knew the dance routine well enough and from memory, to be confident to perform in front of our closest family and friends.

The advantage of having Melissa and Rohan teach us together, was that Melissa could teach the bride her part of the dance and Rohan could teach the groom his part. They would then demonstrate together, so we could see how that component of the dance came together. We would then have a go ourselves. Most times we did quite well, but if we didn't quite understand the routine, the bride would dance with Rohan and the groom with Melissa until we understood completely what the steps were. We think, the fact that we had two teachers meant that we learn the routine faster and it was fun too.

Our wedding day was the most wonderful day of our lives so far. Prior to the day, some of our guests knew details about the wedding, such as what the colour theme was, or what sort of cake we were having, or what flowers we were using... but we kept the dance routine an absolute secret. So when the lights went down and we entered the floor together, our guests gasped when they realised we had learnt a dance. We did well - it wasn't perfect - but it was very effective. Our guests clapped, cheered and whistled at us through the entire routine and loved the lift and spin, that we managed to pull off! Even now, months later, our guests still talk about our dance - it truly was a highlight of our entire wedding day.

For someone who has never danced before, the thought of dancing in front of my wedding guests was terrifying-but Mel and Rohan gave me the step by step knowledge and confidence to do so in a professional yet personalised and simplified manner. An incredibly talented yet very modest duo- I couldn't recommend a more qualified and friendly couple to learn from. Their Choreography skills and teaching methods are exceptional From our first lesson to the day before my wedding day, they were a first class act -money well spent!

We really enjoyed learning to dance with Melissa & Rohan. They were professional, friendly & wonderful dancers & teachers! We had already chosen a song for our first dance at our wedding, then Melissa & Rohan tailored a rumba routine for us - a bit different to a bridal waltz, but it fit perfectly to the music! We kept our dance lessons a secret from family & friends, so all of our wedding guests were totally surprised & amazed with our dance! Hi Melissa & Rohan,
Sorry for being such a slacker and emailing you six weeks after the big event! Our bridal waltz went awesomely, Clint stepped on my dress once, but it was hardly noticable. We were able to do a practice run through when we were doing the mock cake cutting so that made us feel much more confident. All of the guests were really impressed (and surprised), they said it was the highlight of the night, and really got everyone in the mood to dance.
